Hello, and welcome to the Journey! As your supervisor, I want to share what I bring to this role and how I can support your growth as an LPC Associate.

I have extensive experience in therapeutic interventions, crisis counseling, and case management within school and community settings. I’ve delivered individual, family, and group counseling, and have worked directly with adolescents, young adults and adults facing a broad range of social, behavioral, and emotional challenges. This hands-on expertise has equipped me to guide you with practical skills and real-world insights.

I am honored to have been recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor of the Year and have served as a supervisor. These roles reflect my commitment to professional excellence and leadership in the field. I strive to create a supportive, learning-focused environment where interns feel empowered to ask questions, take initiative, and build confidence.

I regularly provide training to counselors, teachers, and staff on topics like adolescent mental health, counseling techniques, and effective case management. I also stay current by attending workshops and continuing education. As your supervisor, I’ll ensure you have access to resources, learning opportunities, and constructive feedback to help you develop your clinical skills.

Building strong relationships is central to my approach. I will actively facilitate communication, provide mentorship, and involve you in multidisciplinary collaboration with clients,  their families, and community partners. You’ll gain experience in teamwork, advocacy, and service coordination.
