Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment is scheduled, you will be required to pay for that appointment at the fee set for the length or purpose of the appointment. If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. I have a 24-hour policy for cancellations of therapy appointments. This means I expect you to give me more than 24 hours notice if you cannot attend a scheduled session time. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time slot are subject to the full out-of-pocket session fee. You are subject to the same fee if you're a no-show or miss consecutive appointments without notice. Your credit card on file will be charged that fee automatically. I do understand that circumstances beyond your control can arise. In specific cases, the fee may be waived at my discretion. If your late cancellation or no-show is due to an unexpected family or clinical emergency such as hospitalization, contagious illness like COVID-19, death in the family, or natural disaster, contact my practice immediately to discuss waiving this cancellation fee. Excessive missing appointments, whether paid or unpaid, will result in reevaluating our contract and your continuation in therapy. Please note that consistency in counseling and attending each session will give you the optimum potential to benefit from your therapeutic experience.
